The Bible teaches us that in the Last Days an International leader will come up from a revived Holy Roman Empire and broker a Peace Agreement in the Middle East for a seven year period... that will confirm the Abrahamic Covenant.  So we should be on the look-out for such a leader...Check out this article...

“Special regime” in Jerusalem can not be governed by a Jew

This is want is written under section C, or the drafted resolution, rules and regulation for the  Governor and Administrative staff:

“A Governor of the City of Jerusalem shall be appointed by the Trusteeship Council and shall be responsible to it. He shall be selected on the basis  of special qualifications and without regard to nationality. He shall not, however, be a citizen of either State in Palestine”.

In regards to the “state in Palestine”, this means Israel and the Kingdom of Jordan. It was Jordan who attacked, occupied and annexed the Eastern parts of Jerusalem, long time before the PLO launched the idea of an “Arab Palestinian state” in 1964.

By looking at this map, it is easy to see that we have Iran surrounded with firepower.  It appears that we, along with Isreal, will soon be attacking Iran's nuclear sites.  We have the technology to stike with great force, but everyone agrees that this war will linger and end up killing mass numbers of people.  The Bible says 1 out of 3 people on the planet...and since we don't know how involved the US will be...we all need to be ready.

JERUSALEM – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secretly has proposed a new plan whereby Jews living in the West Bank will remain in their communities after the territory becomes part of a Palestinian state, WND has learned.

Officials in both Israel and the Palestinian Authority have confirmed the plan to this reporter, marking the first time an Israeli leader has ever put on the table in a serious way a proposal involving Jewish West Bank residents remaining in a Palestinian state.
