Gilad is home after a long, exhausting battle

Noam Shalit, father of the recently released Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, told reporters near his home in Mitzpe Hila on Tuesday night that his son had finally returned home after a long and exhausting battle.

Gilad Shalit returned to Israel on Tuesday after five years in captivity since he was abducted and held by Hamas in Gaza in June 2006.
